3 Minutes to the Susquehanna River and public boat docks. Enjoy kayaking on Muddy Creek, s’mores at the outdoor fire pit,hiking on the Mason-Dixon Trail, boating, fishing, or swimming. Wineries and breweries nearby.
A 3 min drive to a small park that has chairs overlooking the River, small “beach area” perfect for swimming, boat/kayak launch, picnic areas and a spot a potty.
THE SPACE
Gorgeous artist home with attention to detail. The Flag House has deck areas on 2 sides, stepping down to a hardscaped patio area with a table to enjoy al fresco dining with a Blackstone grill. A firepit with 4 chairs are next to the patio area...firewood is provided.
Back inside you will find pine floors, a custom live edged bar, gas fireplace, dedicated office space, built in dining in the stainless kitchen. There is a half bath with laundry in the first floor. 2 Queen bedrooms and a full bath with double vanities and walk in shower on second floor.
A Kayak with life vest is provided. The Susquehanna River is about a 3 minute drive & transportation of the kayak is not included. By booking The Flag House, you agree to kayak at your own risk and hold owner harmless if any accidents or injuries occur during your stay.
Home is cooled and heated with a mini split system. There are 4 units and if doors are closed, the air is not able to circulate to hallway and bathrooms areas. Heat is also provided by fireplace in the living room.
This is a rural property with limited window treatments.

THE LOCATION
The Flag House is a secluded hideaway just 3 minutes from the Susquehanna River. It's a beautiful place for kayaking or canoeing. There are nearby parks, scenic outlooks, hiking trails and river access for boating or fishing.
INSIDE
This home is truly its own piece of artwork. The floor plan features a living room area with fireplace that connects to the gourmet kitchen.
The kitchen has all stainless appliances with every comfort of home. Plus a dining area for meals or just hanging with the family.
UPSTAIRS: The primary bedroom has a queen size bed, its own TV and windows with lots of views of the grounds.
The bathrooms have been stocked with everything you need including shampoo, body soap and more. The primary bath features a shower while the half bath also serves as the laundry room and has stacking full-size washer and dryer.
The second bedroom also has a queen size bed and has its own TV and great views.
The Flag House has 2 deck areas. A porch area for relaxing and a full deck area that steps down into the hardscape patio area.
OUTDOORS
The backyard offers patio area with table and chairs for outdoor dining. There's also a wood burning fire pit, perfect for making and enjoying s'mores on cool evenings. The kayak shed houses kayaks, paddles and safety vests for guest use.

Quiet. Clean. Well stocked w/ all the basics. Off the beaten path. Surrounded by nature. 15 min walk to the Susquehanna river. Perfect weekend getaway for a couple or small family.
