Quaint cottage overlooking Beurys Lake...or as my dad lovingly says..."its more like a shallow pond". For those who love a sweet quiet cottage get away with a gorgeous view, this is the perfect place for you. 2 Kayaks are here for your use...on my shallow, but pretty lake. One bathroom, with stand up shower, with washer/dryer, and yes, my water heater all are cozied up in there together.
THE SPACE
Exposed beams, stone fireplace, hardwood floors in beds and family room, large covered deck overlooking lake, firepit. Home has fast wifi and roku sticks, no cable. TV in family room and in one bedroom.
Basic kitchen supplies, nothing crazy...you are in a rural little cottage. Gas grill, Mr Coffee, 2 kayaks, outdoor firepit, walking areas around lake.
2 Queen beds...one with lakeview. We provide K cups for the Keurig as well as firewood for the firepit. There is no cable on the tvs however there are Roku sticks for each. The driveway provides parking for up to 2 vehicles.
It's a sweet, but small cottage, best 4 max folks. Bedroom doors do not lock, old time weird accordion things. Other oddities of this old girl...toilet a bit wobbly, along with vanity. You will see geese, ducks, occasional bald eagle (binoculars provided), muskrats, mink, turtles and be serenaded by many crickets and frogs in the evening hours.

THE LAKE
The Cottage sits on the banks of Beurys Lake. It's not a huge lake but it's great for kayaking or canoeing. Just big enough to enjoy without getting too far from shore. And it's the perfect mirror for incredible sunrise and sunsets. A perfect place to relax and decompress.
INSIDE
Enjoy the charm of the cottage, from the exposed beam ceiling family room with stone fireplace and hardwood floors.
Enter the kitchen with its many comforts of home. Plus a small dining area for morning coffee or family meals.
The primary bedroom has one queen size bed and is quite comfy. It has its own TV in the room and door access onto the porch.
The bathroom has many of your everyday needs, including full shower and doubles as the laundry room with stacking washer and dryer.
The second bedroom offers another queen size bed and comfortable surroundings.
The back porch provides a covered area to relax and enjoy the view, it also includes access to the lake.
OUTDOORS
The backyard offers patio area with seating. There's also a table and chairs for outdoor dining with a peaceful water view. The BBQ grill makes outdoor cooking easy anytime of year.

Laura’s Cottage was lovely. It was stylish, cozy and peaceful. Well equipped and stocked. The view of the lake is beautiful and accessible from inside and out. The fireplace was amazing with an ample supply of wood and fire starters. Laura was immediately responsive to questions. We would definitely return.

This cottage was so cute and relaxing. Just the peace and quiet I needed to get away for a few days. Bars and restaurants were a little bit of a drive but worth it. I hope to return again!
